I have had these in my garage for what seems like forever. Can anyone date the tool board or the wrenches? I have more, but there were at hand easily. thanks Junk...

According to my secret decoder ring the wrenches are from the left, 1955, 1956 and 1953.

I would think that the board dates from the same era.

My crystal ball, properly aligned to Kenosha, comes up with the same results...

The tool board looks like the one at my old High School, which would fit as it was built around 1960.

My crystal ball is out on loan, so is there any place on line that this decoded information is available?

The tool board came from a flea market about 10 years ago. I was unsuccessful at selling it on eBay, so after 3 tries, I hung it in the garage. I started the bidding at $9.99 and didn't get a bid!

Junkman, here is the oft-quoted Snap-On date chart:

I'll give you $9.99 for that tool board...

It is now screwed to the wall, so it doesn't come down. If I put something up on eBay, and it doesn't sell the first time, I give it a few months and try again. Then if it doesn't sell, it usually winds up in the garbage or in the garage. My garages can hold 8 cars total. There is only one in the garage at present, and a lot of junk taking up space where the cars should be. I intend to clean it out over the next few months and divest myself of 40+ years of collecting old junk/crap. I have found parts to cars that I sold in the 1960's in boxes that have moved 3 times without being opened. These wrenches are a testament to how much old stuff there is. There should be about 3 or 4 more, but they haven't surfaced yet. I figure that if I don't do it now, then I might get too old to do it later on, and someone else will just toss everything not knowing what it is.

Hey, if you find any more of those old boards, I'd be interested in them.... I'd like to hang em in my garage next to the Proto ones

instead of throwing the stuff away post it up here I am sure sombody on here would have a use for some of it and I am sure nobody would argue paying postage. and who knows one of those old parts in original unused condition from the sixtys may well bring 3-4 times it's original price from the right buyer looking to restore his old gremlin or something :lol_hitti
