Woah, beautiful house, beautiful garage, and beautiful scenery!
You need to replace those Fords with Mopars, though.

:wtf: How much bigger is that garage than the rest of your house
Now _that's_ the way to do it. Except for..... the color. Sorry, but I'm just not feeling the pink.
Building itself, and the interior is great! That's an awesome collection you have going on there.

BEAUTIFUL! What a great play house. How do you keep it so clean with all those ponies and their deposits of manure

I initially thought the top of the garage was part of the house... that is badass the whole thing is a true garage. Very well done.
There are a ton of houses in Florida that color and I think it looks fine. I don't think it is as much of a true "pink" as it looks in the pictures. Much more subtle in person.

It's more of a salmon, light orange color, although my oldest daughter also constantly wrinkles her face at the "pink" addition. She thinks I made it "pink" because I also have a pink Mustang. Actually we didn't want white or gray as most stucco around here seems to be. It matched the mortor between the red bricks onthe rest of the house which is hard to see in the photos.
when we were building it we had enough money to also remodel my kitchen. But in the process we purchased several Stangs instead. So when I get mad at the lifting linoleum or ugly formica, I open the garage door and get that wonderful gas, oil and old car aroma and am happy again.
Thanks for the nice comments. It's a fun playhouse!

WOW!! I'd say the garage to house size ratio is just about perfect! :bounce:
I wish I could have talked my wife into doing something like that before we bought our current house...oh well, one day.

That's funny!

Hi CF, another Utahn! Where ya at?
The garage is 24Wide x 45Long and 22 ft high at peak of ceiling.
Our original plans were approved by the county to be 30ft wide. But the inspection day that our footings were too be poured the inspector came out and lopped off five feet. They said because the front of the house is closer to the street than the law now allows the side has to be further from the street to compensate. We were waaaaay po'd, still are. Five more feet would have given us a lot more breathing room between ponies. (The extra foot is accounting for approximate wall thickness)
The loft in the front is 24 x 18 ft.
The pictures don't show there is a bathroom and roughed in shower in the loft too. There's also a storage closet at the top of the stairs going into the loft which houses the water heater and hides junk.
The big picture window in the back provides a lot of light, but also a view of the mountains from the loft.
One thing that was an afterthought on our plans was the sky lights. There are four with a southern exposure. I highly recommend them in any garage.
The house is 1300ft on main and same on full finished basement. So there really is more room in the main house than the photos look like.
We love all cars, corvettes, porsches, mopars, hotrods, trucks, jeeps .... whatever. But ended up with Mustangs because of family history and they were easy to obtain and cheap in the early 80's when we started.

I was looking at the Hot Dawg heaters for our garage. How do you like it? is it a Propane heater?

Son and daughter graduated from Oly, Hubby and I from the rival Skyline.
Last year Oly senior down the street in charge of homecoming activities invited us to carry the royalty in our stang converts for Homecoming at halftime. It was fun.
The kids liked the cars.
Come see us at the Northern Utah Mustang Owners spring breakout at Butterfiield Ford 4/23m 10-3. Bring your pony!

Very cool garage and loft.
Eventhough I'm a GM guy, have to say that's a nice stable (collection) you have going on there
