We purchased our home almost 2 years ago and are close to completing what we wanted to do to the home. Now I can finally finish my shop.
Shop is 25'x60'(1500sqft). Front 25'x40 is for GNs, Buggy, and Lawn stuff. Rear 25'x20' will be area for Bridgeport Mill, 18"x48" Lathe, and work benches and desk.
I know it dirty and dusty in the picture but looks better presently. I need to paint the wall stripe, paint the floor in the back room, and move the work benches and desk into and then start on the front part.

Nice garage. What do you have done to the GN? Those cars are classic.

Ah, mention of a GN. This calls for a video! right-click save as-> www.king-nerd.com/dood/temp/videos/christtgn.wmv

Love the buggy, too :D

Wonder how much H.P. it would have shown if the tires wouldn't have been spinning.
Very cool ride. Any 1/4 mile times?

The '87 GN in the picture I bought last winter('03). Its was originally an Illinois car with rusted pans, trunk, and rear frame. Too much salt in its diet :bounce: . Don't matter though, planning on cutting it up to become a drag car next summer. Ran it a couple of times to get a baseline, 11.20's @117 with larger intercooler, 50lbs injectors, T62E Turbo, mild ported heads, and a dump pipe.
Have an '86 GN with T-tops in my father garage awaiting resto.

Oh, Chris Chow has that Gn in the video. Its really a Twin Turbo'd SBChevy in a GN chassis. Don't get me wrong, Hell of a car running low 8s @ close to 170, but not a true GN.

Buggys one of the best thing I ever built. More fun than you can imagine. Go anywhere. Pretty much a stock VW 1600 engine. I have a set of Rear Ditch Witch(Chevron Pattern) that I change out for off road. I been in mud that would have been up to my chest, if I was standing in it. Came out with no problem, well....wife wasn't real happy but thats a different story.

I didn't realise the GN in that video had something other than a GN engine in it. I kinda thought that the exhaust sounded too beefy, but I never bothered to actually look up any specs on the car.

GN's are still cool... it's amazing how much power you can get out of a 6cyl!

I owned an 80 Olds Cutlass with a 260 V8 in it. It was a cool car and I dug the body style, but have always wanted a GN. Sure wish I'd have would have kept it. That little V8 would have been long gone though.
