Let me know what you think.
I laid down some Epoxy the first day we got the keys. Epoxy is great , but the light gray shows lots of dirt. Scuffs easily too. Those VCT tiles look great, I 'm likely gonna switch to those as this floor gets harder to keep clean.
I've always had this image in my head of the perfect garage and and can never achieve that for some reason or another probably b/c I can't afford it! Anyways this is where I'm at on my first try.
Great site! Happy to be here!

Welcome ekozy39. Garage looks good. I was going to go with gray epoxy also. I wasn't aware of the scuffing. Thanks for the info.

a lot of the scuffs wipe away.
I originally wasn't impressed by the gray, blue and black sprinkles that came with the epoxy kit, but now I regret not using them. A neighbor dropped the sprinkles in on his floor and they hide a lot of the minor scratches and scuffs.

Welcome!
That's a nice clean shop.
I'd never thought about those color flakes helping hide dirt/scuffs. Hmmm....
Nice clean garage.
That's about the same size as mine...now if only I was just into playing with motorcycles instead of cars, I'd have plenty of room...cars seem to take up a little more space. :headscrat

the garage is 20'x20' and once i get the car inside their isn't much room to work around it.
In regards to the scuffs, the builder we bought our house from offered the epoxy floor as an option for $2000, and the company they contracted it out to put about 3 coats of clear and the 1 garage i saw with it seems to be holding up really well. I wonder if anyone has tried putting a couple coats of clear. I would assume this would only work if you have the flakes for traction as the floor would be extremely dangerous when wet!

I went down to Home Depot this weekend and they where blowing out 6'X8' pieces of outdoor carpet,$10.00 a piece, I am using two of those for my motorcycle workspace in the garage.
