Anyone have before and after shots of their garage/shop areas? It's always cool to see what people are doing to improve what they have. I started with an extremely basic 85-year-old, 2.5-car detached stick-frame garage that didn't even have electricity! It took about 3 months to completely renovate the place, but by doing all the work myself, I was able to keep costs under control. It's now heated with 100-amp service. I even ran pipes underground so I could have compressed air in my basement shop. Here are a few shots of my place:

Before (electrical rough-in started):

Before (dig the crappy door that doesn't even fit!):

Before (well, I had already started insulating the place at this point):

Great pics! You just reminded me that I need to get a fire extinguisher for my garage.

...and it reminded me to get a first aid box! Nice transformation. And the Buick is cool too!

Yep, that's me. I haven't been real active in the V8 Rangers scene since I started the Buick, but I still get about 8 E-mails a day about the subject. I try to help out as much as I can, but I'm not active on that board any more. I frequently think of building another V8 Ranger, and I often really miss FrankenRanger.

Wow! That's quite a difference!

I hope your grinder stand is more sturdy than it looks...

Here's what I built last year to replace it. All steel, vast improvement:
