I'm a newby.

I use my garage for the building and maintance of my race car. It is a 1973 Porsche 914 autocross car. Autocross is where you run one car at a time around a course laid out with traffic cones and you're racing against the clock.

Here are a few shots of my cave.

I've got a mig welder, tubing notcher, porta-band, etc. In the second picture on the right is a engine stand I made out of Unistruct steel members. Don't have a mill or lathe but I don't think I need them.

Oh yea, I almost forgot. I have a small refrigerator. Well stocked with beer.

The cabinets came from a office remodel I did a few years ago. The top of the large work bench is a hollow metal door, 30" x 6'8". The vise is mounted directly to it. I'm a senior project manager for a construction company so I have access to some good surplus equipment. That three drawer rolling cabinet was going to be thrown in the dumpster before I saved it. I work on medical projects so one day I was able to pick up a patient bed table. The kind that is on wheels and rolls under the bed and moves up and down. Very handy around the shop.

You are pretty close to me. I'm by the Muvico/Home Depot on North Bruce B. Downs.

The local Porsche club runs autocrosses at the Zephyrhills airport and the Brooksville airports. We'll let anyone drive pretty much anything. Guests are always welcome.
Next one is at B-ville May 15th.
