This has to be one of the funniest stories I have read on a message board, much less a story about a garage. Warning - it is long, very long, but well worth the time.

I do find it quite interesting when people, especially guys, that have never done any of this type of work (or even basic car maintenance) all of a sudden get an urge to finally tackle it. They then figure out how easy it is and learn that YES they can do it. Seriously, I know so many guys that don't know the business end of a screwdriver and are calling plumbers for the simplest things and still taking their cars in for oil changes and brake jobs. I can't believe how much money is needlessly spent on things that these folks could easily do themselves.
I don't think I'd be comfortable working under that lift. Hopefully someday we don't see a "Part 3" where the lift collapses. I'll stick to my 2 post lift, thank you.
Plus, I refuse to pay for something I can do myself. Is it just me or are others also having a hard time letting go of their hard earned money?
