So I've been looking at a powder coat gun for a while but didn't really have a "need" for one until now. So, I went to the Horror Freight site to order. Being Canadian I just thought with free trade and all that I'd be able to order. Nope, no shipping north of the border. Like the world just ends at the line. Soooo, low and behold, the Columbia Coatings site has a special with all sorts of goodies included with their gun for truthfully a better price, or value, I guess I should say. If you haven't checked out the Columbia site take a look http://www.columbiacoatings.com.

I'm pretty stoked and can't wait till it gets here.

I'd like to get one, too. Just holding out for a welder first! Thanks for the link.

Just a little further info, the gun package I got was this onehttp://www.columbiacoatings.com/1152andupt45676ty78yj789345erfrg5467.htm
the Chicago Electric Powder Coating Gun

Nice that it comes with a real book not some flimsy photo copy thing and either 2 1 pound powder coat colours or 1 2 pound colour. I ordered a couple of other colours as well as some metal pretreater spray stuff.

I'm pretty sure that this is the same gun as the HF one. I think my total was around US$215.00 or so. I'll report back once it gets here.

Good luck with the pc'ing. I've been doing it about a year or so, and it is very addictive, we have powder coated doorknobs, and bathroom fixtures, and heating vents, not to mention all the stuff on the actual cars that I did.

Have fun with it
