Napa Evercraft tool opinion needed

I am a weekend worrier and I just purchased a set of Evercraft tools. Sears has given me a hard time returning tools and I sold everything. I looked for a warranty that will replace tools with no problem. At work we had an old set of Evercraft sockets and the reacher broke so I had one of my guys return it to Napa ans see if they will honor there warranty. They did and I liked the way they returned the tool and replaced it. I just work on my truck and mower I like to tinker in my garage after work. Can anyone please tell me anything about Evercraft tools? Good or bad!

I am more than do it yourself as i am chrysler and jeep technician. i do own one set of evercrafts as flex sockets. i did use it once but it go sloppy and broke bolt on flex socket. so i take it to napa store and they replaced it at no charge.
but i dont like to break tool right after i use it. as i dont use it much while i use snap on impact semi sockets so much then it is no problem for me.

i am stay away evercraft impact sockets, extenions, ratchets, and wrenches because it will go junk anyway.

i will not buy any evercraft because it is poor quality and oversea made. i am rather craftsman or snap on (same with mac tool).

Evercraft is your typical Taiwanese Proto-knock-off tool line (think: Harbor Freight ratchets). I have some of their stuff like flex sockets that won't see much torque. But I do not use them as my main line.

The Napa Professional line is good stuff. Made by Danaher and some of it looks like it might have walked right out of the Matco catalog.

I think the scredrivers are good, if the US like is the same as the canadian line

This was my first post and I purchased my set before I found this forum! I wish I saw this before I purchased Napa Evercraft tools. I work for a local government and we got some Evercraft tool that were impounded and left behind from a drug deal. Last week I decided to return a socket and wrench that were broken and Napa returned them with no questions that impressed me because Sears gave me a hard time the last three times I returned tools so I sold them and purchased another set.There are people that have allot to say but not to help. I thought this was a place to get information and help but it seems some people are a little sarcastic and not willing to help people. I do want to thank for the reply that relate to the question and not how I post the question.

I have a 40 some piece 1/2" drive set, with deep/shallow metric/sae sockets. I have used this set in very harsh enviroments (rode in the back of a jeep, and was used in mud/snow/rain) and has yet to rust/or break. The set is very complete and the ratchet has in fact broke one (was taking the axle nut off with a 4 foot breaker on the handle), but so did 3 other craftsman 1/2" drives. I have had craftsman sockets break, but not these. I have also used them with my ir titanium 2135 impact, but that will change cause the impacts sockets are on the way. But i would deffently reccomend that set.

You asked for opinions and that's what you got. For the record EverCraft tools would be pretty low on my list under the Stanley pro series.

Stick around and you'll see that the folks here have a great deal of knowledge and are always ready to help someone out. It just takes a while to understand the atmosphere here.

Really??? I think that this is definitely one of the more friendly forums out there. If you are offended by what's said on this forum, you should probably sell your computer and take up arts and crafts....

I'll second that. Compared to some forums I no longer visit, this one is quite civil. Once in a while, someone gets a bit keyed up, but it's rare.
