Favorite tool?

OK,
this is a different kind of thread.
Post the tool you most enjoy using and why.

Mine are a 1/2 inch and 3/8 inch long handle ratchets from Princess auto.(lifetime warranty,rebuildable)

I enjoy using them because the grip is comfortable, they are smooth and the head is very tight. Aswell the direction switch(is that what its called?) is well placed and very easy to do with one finger.

My Devilbis Plus gun :)

.. altho I laid down some PPG DPLF60 (blue) Epoxy (reduced & used as a sealer) with my Devilbis GTi so nicely this morning that it looked like single stage.

I don't know, I have so many that I've had forever. The Kraeuter lineman's pliers that were my grandfather's, the Blue Point "Boxocket" wrenches that my wife's grandfather used, and many more.

I have a few newer ones I like. The Wagner Paint Crew sprayer is a real workhorse and a bargain for $200. And dammit, I like my HF full-head framing nailer. It has saved my elbow and my ears from lots of abuse and shows no signs of dying.

A nice, solid "Ka-Thwack!" beats "bang, bang, bang, bang"...ad infinitum...

me too!!! i just buy the tools to do job fast and simple than be hassle or lost times... but i have to start watch out for my toolboxes with tools because today both techs in my work just borrow my radiator pressure tester to do the two overheat vehicles while both techs dont have it themself..... :headscrat

i maybe have to lock my toolboxes while i work few bays away... but i always locked my toolboxes while i am out of work because i am full time student at college. but i am on my last semester before i am graduate.... then when i work full time then my work have to give me all work where other techs dont have right tools or speical tools instead "use" me and my tools....:bounce:

I have an old New Britain ratchet that I choose over all my other ratchets and my no name linesman pliers given to me by my dad. I remember him using them when I was a little boy 40+ years ago. They work about the same as my other linesmen, but the history makes them enjoyable to use.

Geez, it's hard to narrow it down. I can give you some of my favorites, though:

Any of my Stihl equipment. Always leaves me with that warm fuzzy feeling after using it.

My *gasp* Ryobi drill driver that I've had for 3 or 4 years that just WON'T DIE already....

I feel the same way about my 6-7 year old DeWalts...err...I meant Black and Deckers.

They are orange, but I don't hold that against them.
