Another new shop thread

My business partner and I have just moved into a new shop to use as our personal race shop to comfortably finish our cars.

The building is 30x24 with a 9x12 office area. We're almost done getting it set up, but have a few details still to take care of. I was initially concerned it would be too tight, but while it's not generous for space, it's certainly enough to work comfortably (much more so than either of our garages). Sadly, we are not allowed to install a lift. :sad:

Get a scissor lift or a portable lift.

That wiring looks kinda scary. Are you able to add electrical in this building?

We are, and we're going to bring someone in to add the additional 220 lines. The wiring for the lighting was expedient more than anything. When we get a chance we'll go back and redo it.

The little lifts won't do anything for us.

Why aren't you allowed to install a lift? I have not seen a business that is not allowed to. And if it is for insurance reasons, you had better get the 220 and the rewiring on the lights done pretty quick or you'll be in the dark there also. LOL!!!
