Hello all, I am a new member to this forum and Will more than likely be more of a lurker as I want to find more ideas of things to do to my garage. I have a three car garage and I will let the pictures do most of the talking. I moved into the house in early April and this is the only room I have gotten a lot of work done in. Here are the progress photos.

I have a question for you and anyone else that has put down a floor coating. How slippery is the floor when it's wet? I live in western PA and duing the winter the cars bring in snow and it then melts. The floor wasn't poured like I asked and the water doesn't run to the one floor drain leaving water just about everywhere.
I'm concerned that if I would put some type of coating down, the floor would be too slippery. Thanks for any info.

Wow, nice job. It sure looks good.
- What sort of prep work did you have to do to the floor?
- When did you do it?
- How's it holding up so far?

Andamo - The epoxy floor coating comes with chips that you can sprinkle on the floor as you do each section. Because I am in Phoenix, AZ and don't see a whole lot of moisture, I did not use but half of them. So, mine is slick enough that you have to watch your step if the floor is wet. Other people I have known have used all the chips available/or had the floor professionally done, and have had no problems with slickness.
bmwpower - Yes, well kinda. I drive a 2000 Silverado and my wife drives a 2002 325CI.

DynoDave - I did the floor the last weekend in April and the painting of the walls a week later. It is holding up great so far. As far as prep is concerned, I pretty much did as follows.
Here was the process I used.
On Friday I cleared out the garage and stuck everything inside my house or in the backyard. I cleaned out the garage with a brush and an Airblower. I then took a 50:50 bottle of Simple Green and scrubbed any areas that seemed to have any oil residue. My garage floor was very clean anyways so there were not very many stains.
I then rinsed out the garage 2 times with a hose. Instead of using the squeegee that is recommended by Rustoleum, I held a Airblower in one hand and the hose in the other. Whenever I hit an area with water, I immediately followed with the airblower so as to avoid any pooling of water in the Garage.
Then Saturday I went over the entire Garage floor with the included cleaner and a stiff brush. Rinsed twice the same way as above and then waited.
Then Sunday I woke up and got to work in the garage at about 9am. The floor did not take very long to complete. Maybe 3 hours as I finished in time for lunch. It would have gone much faster if I had someone else that could have spread the chips while I painted.

What paint did you use on your walls? I was thinking about going with a gray instead of white and I think you're garage pushed me over the fence.
Looks awesome!

I'm in the process of painting over the lower portion of my garage walls. I'm using a semi gloss,MAB paint(98233 heather harmony). I am very pleased with the results.

The main portion of the walls is a Glidden Paint from Lowes and it is Vulcan Grey. The trim is also a Glidden paint from lowes and it is Intercoastal Grey. They are both Semigloss
