Anyone shop toolgopher.com?

I am trying to order my filters to get my air lines set up. I was going to order from www.nationaltoolwarehouse.com but they charge $35 dollars to ship a measly 11 lbs. to me.....

So any recommendations? I am ordering a Sharpe filter (606a) as well as some misc. things I need for painting.

Any experience with Tool Gopher?

Thanks

I have found that some places that have ridiculously high shipping prices will adjust the shipping charges if you are ready to order when you call. They just put high prices on the websites hoping to catch a fish once in a while. It also seems that the smaller the company, the easier they are to be flexible. Some of these companies make the profits on the shipping charge differential. Last week I ordered some kitchen stove repair parts from an on-line parts company, and the shipping charges were a flat $6.95, no matter how many parts you ordered. Since 3 of the 4 parts were in large boxes, and each was shipped separately, I know that the shipping costs in that case were a bargain.

I asked them. They are out of stock.

From toolwarehouse.net
Your order is shipping via standard UPS to a single address within the Continental U.S. (Does not include Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or International shipping destinations.)

I bought a set of SK screwdrivers from them. I seem to recall the shipping wasn't blindingly fast - but not a bad deal. I would buy again.

I've bought from them 3 or 4 times. Only good things to say about them. They seem to have a flat rate shipping charge. $8.99 no matter what I've gotten, 6 pounds or 60. Any slow shipping from them, I tend to blame UPS.

While they don't have the most extensive listings out there, I've never had anything backordered. They've even got manuals cheaper than Amazon.com

Sharpe (SHPU6720) Model 606A Air Control Unit with 120 CFM Filter
Regular Price $152.44
GOPHER IT PRICE $107.87

Tooltopia is $99.05 w/free shipping, so you would save $8.82 plus $8.99 for shipping ... good for a few gallons of gas

I ordered an OTC 3369 timing light from them on 5-1-07 thru amazon which showed in stock and ready to ship on 5-2 or 5-3-07 with an expected delivery date of 5-5 to 5-10-07. As of today, 5-15-07 I have not recieved the light nor any communication from them. This is what I have done so far: On 5-10-07 at 5 pm local or 2 pm california time which is during their listed business hours, I called the customer service # listed on their website and instead of a live person got a voicemail machine. On 5-11-07 I sent a fax to the fax # listed on the website (which went thru) requesting a tracking # so I could see what was up with the order. This request was ignored and I recieved no reply. On 5-14-07 I sent an e-mail thru amazon site to them again requesting a tracking # and again was blown off and recieved no reply. Today, 5-15-07 I filed a claim against them on amazon and sent another e-mail to them cancelling the order and telling them that I would order the light thru a RELIABLE vendor that would actually send the item ordered. I have had nothing but good experiences with Toolwarehouse.net, Tooltopia, and Tooldiscounter but in the last 10 yrs I have ordered things off the internet this is the first time I have never recieved an item ordered. I understand that no one including me is perfect, but to fail to deliver an item then blow off and not respond to numerous attempts to find out what is going on is UNACCEPTABLE. When I looked at their feedback before buying it was something like 95% positive, note to self; never buy anything from a place with less than 99%+ positive.
