I had some Westward T-handles (hex, metric). The 4mm broke sort of inside the handle on like the third use. The tips also wore out very fast. Decent for $50 CDN/10 pc set, though.

I just searched "Westward" and found this old post.

I guess it's "Westward" as in: "We export these tools westward."

What the heck is with Grainger pricing, anyways? Got a catalog today and the prices are insane. Who pays that?

Grainger makes money as a big box tool and supply store to businesses. They have tons on stuff and a giant catalog. They get away with the prices, by providing businesses with a one stop shopping experience, plus they are local and can deliver.

they were closing out these sets of 2 4-in-1 westward screwdrivers, a big one and a little one in a vinyl pouch. They were 3 or 4 dollars a set from what i remember. I bought 30 sets :D

At one time, not that long ago, Westward was made in Canada I think. I always read good things about their tools and considered getting a few. When I finally got around to it, they had moved production to Canada.

Only good price I got at Grainer was the recent Proto ratchet close out. Got two Proto ratchets for a great price.
