Craftsman Digi-Torque sucks, period. And they don't warranty them past a year. Maybe the beam style lasts longer, who knows.

I'd recommend throwing out whatever hasn't been used in 10 years. And throw out all old paint and fluids. That stuff doesn't last...

What I did was build a small shelf that mounts to the wall above the garage door. This shelf holds the bottom of the legs. Then I put a J-hook in the ceiling that I hook the other end of the ladder...
