Looks like a hell of a project. Saw a show on Hot Rod TV where someone dropped a 302 into a Mazda Meida and was smoking a vet on the track, big horse power in a little car=win, win.

the newer bikes with the belt drive/electronic ing and fuel injection aren't like the older bikes with chains/points and carbs.

With that said, there are a few things you can do now to help...

Holy ...., good find, Deke is right, those will hold up a tank!

Use a framing square, one side will be 24", the other should be 16", with the 24" side level to the bottom of your ceiling joist,...

I was afraid you'd run into issues with an over pour but, you'd still be able to pour an extension next to it, just drill into the existing slab and anchor your rebar to it, an extra 2' may not sound...

Before ya start building walls, ya need to do the layout work. Don't assume any of the exsisting walls are plumb, straight or square. Start out with one wall...

ya might check out the free span metal buildings, fairly cheap but a sound building. When pricing out, tell them your intentions and ask questions, lots of questions.

The thing ya gotta remember is, when building on a slab like that (that close to the ground), wood is going to wick (draw) moisture, there's no way around it so, a treated sill plate is a common...

Ok,
16' is doable, google floor joist span table and you will find the info your looking for. While your at it, check out post and beam framing, I think I'll build my last house with this framing...
