Re: Wrangler .. Maybe FJ Cruiser?

No one is forcing a jeep down anyone's throat.

Re: Wrangler .. Maybe FJ Cruiser?

I said it simply because they are fun vehicles to own and offer a versatility that not many other vehicles can offer. You can include the Japanese copies of the Jeep in my statement. But do realize...

Re: Can my wife read my texts on my 4s?

You don't have to turn iMessage off. You just need to make sure both phones are setup properly. The people that are posting about receiving each other's messages through iMessage are getting them...

Re: Wrangler .. Maybe FJ Cruiser?

I've owned both a 4runner and a wrangler.

Here's the difference between the two.

Selling the wrangler was a huge mistake. I miss that thing more than any vehicle I've owned before. It had...

Re: Any Challenger owners here??

My wife has a 6-spd R/T. We love it! Rides great and seems to be built really well.

I've powdercoated the gas cap black since this picture was taken.

The blind spot is annoying as hell. ...

Re: 707 horsepower

You pick a specialty Camaro and a Corvette to compare against the Mustang. BWAHHAHAHAHA That's funny. A standard Camaro, won't touch a standard Mustang on any race track. Period. Throw in the...

Re: Snap-On / Wright Tools comparison.

You have a bad one. Mine doesn't slip at all. That ratchet has become my go to tool for most quick jobs.

Re: motocross, love hate relationship

Take up car racing. You'll still get a rush from it, and the safety equipment is far superior.

Re: Americans are weird.....according to foreigners

I don't know how the German's stay so fit. Everytime I go there, I come back at least 4lbs heavier. Their portion sizes (food and beer) dwarf ours in the USA.

Re: Americans are weird.....according to foreigners

We don't use the public toilets. Those are only for foreigners. We hold it until we get home! :pimpflash

FWIW, I think it's creepy that other countries "hide" the tax in the sticker price....

Re: Japanese mini 4x4 trucks.

You just described every car on the road that currently has to meet emissions and safety standards. Why should these things be exempt?

Re: trailer locks

This is one complete setup for one trailer. I want one for two trailers.

I've called a locksmith, and he claimed that these locks can't be rekeyed. I'll try another one.

Re: Are pontoon boats as much of a PITA as fishing/skiing boats?

My 10yr old boat has been trouble free. I change the spark plugs and fuel filters in it every other year, and that's it.

We paid $9000 for it 4 yrs ago and could easily sell it for $8500 at the...

Re: What the hell is in dry-powder fire extinguishers?

After learning how corrosive these things are, I purchased a CO2 extinguisher to go beside each of my corrosive extinguishers. I'll use the co2 first and if that doesn't work, I'll reach for the...

Re: Thinking about buying a sports car as a toy....

IMO, save your pennies until you can pick up a c5 or a s197. You are not far from either one of these cars, and they are far superior to the previous generation cars.

Re: The USA made conundrum...

There is a point to buying old product. It beats letting it go to the landfill. No point in using our resources to make a new one, when an old one is perfectly fine.

Re: Anyone using a Fahrenheat FUH724 240-volt Garage Heater

I have one in a 24x26 garage. Walls and door are insulated, the ceiling is not. On a 35 degree day it can get the garage up to 65 degrees but it takes about two hours to get it that high.

I...

Re: The 12-Gauge Garage

I've been meaning to ask you this, and this pretty much opens the door for the question. I've been thinking about picking up an old 60's mustang for a toy, that would see similar duty to what you do...
