Re: Any interest in these T-handle hex wrenches?

I'm making a prototype that uses a magnetic bit holder on the end so any
1/4" hex insert can be used. These will come in two lengths a long and short version. Will post pictures once completed.

Re: Any interest in these T-handle hex wrenches?

Probably need to be much longer for that.
You must work on older Bikes, didn't think they used many allens on the newer bikes.

Did the same thing.
Are today's kids even interested in tools?
Got a feeling a lot of older guys will be wearing SK hats.

Re: Any experience with harbor freight hoses?

Have had good luck with the ones that come with their spring driven reels.
Lots of problems with the ones that come on their manual reels. The hose cracks
and leaks right by the end fittings. Have...

Re: Planer Knife Sharpener

I think Byrd Tool makes small heads that take carbide inserts.
The convenience is nice, but the price may not be.
Have you ever considered getting a different planer with an on-board sharpener?...

Re: Any interest in these T-handle hex wrenches?

Yes regular handles are pretty flimsy. I have used some Eklind's, the saving
grace with them is that they will reach into almost anything.

What is the range of sizes you would need?

Re: Had a big oak tree taken down - can I get usable boards out of them?

Not worth having a portable mill come out, unless you have some more logs to cut
on your property, or have some friends with some logs they need cut as well.
5' is quite short for a log, plan on...

Re: Plasmacam,Torchmate,others....

Don't buy a Miller like I did.
A great power supply is no good, if you don't have a torch that will stand the gaff.
It's all in the torch and consumables with a plasma, wish I would have known...

Re: Dewalt 4.5" grinder, has anyone ever put a drill chuck on one?

You better keep that bit moving, I can see a "cooked" bit if you dwell for
to long at 10K rpm. Router bits turn even faster, and people plunge cut
with those all the time. So I don't see any...

Re: Any interest in these T-handle hex wrenches?

One word that describes these things the best is RIDGED.
I stuck one of the smaller sizes in a vise and clamped on to the
allen part and then used a 9/16 wrench on the main body to see if
I could...

Re: Any interest in these T-handle hex wrenches?

No, the bar is pressed in, but you could have one made with an extended
area above the bar for a 9/16 socket to fit. I could also drill a slightly bigger
hole for the bar but you would have to...

Re: Any interest in these T-handle hex wrenches?

Dave your "sample" is on its way, USPS says two days to CA.
That sure is fast we'll see if they actually get it there in that time.

Re: Any interest in these T-handle hex wrenches?

Thanks for the feedback.
I know, kind of expensive but how much do they get for a single Snap-On
wrench these days? And they are mass produced these are a specialty
one off items made to order.

Re: Are there any real benifits of remote mounted motors/pumps on a compressor?

Some one needs to stand behind their product and give you a new tank, is what I think. That is ridiculous only two months, those things should last 20+
years if they are drained at any frequency at...

Re: Any interest in these T-handle hex wrenches?

Yes sir that's exactly how it works.
Kind of hard to drop everything for a run of only one or two. so the price
has to cover at least some of the setup involved.
It's a specialty thing so you can...

Re: Any interest in these T-handle hex wrenches?

Thanks for your interest.
The wrenches use regular allen hex key stock that is pressed in to
the 12L14 body. When the ends get bad they can be replaced with
a new one or possibly just flipped...

Any interest in these T-handle hex wrenches?

Here is some T-handle hex (Allen) wrenches I'm selling on E-bay.
I can make different sizes. What do you guys think?
Right around $15.00 for one. cheaper for multiples.
Once you use one of these...

Re: Scored a Vintage 8" Baldor Grinder...Questions Though

Your going to have to make some caps for the bearings then, as they are an integral part to the guards. You could just saw off the guards. :puke:
