I might be dreaming this but they have single post lift that would allow you to stick it against the wall and when not in use would be virtually invisible and not in the way at all.

I can't see why you couldn't with a little engineering raise the roof in a certain spot to accommodate the lift you desire, almost like a metal knee wall to raise the roof in that area

ye, as long as you had something along the lines of you arn't responsible for damages or injuries incurred from lift failure, incorrect use of lift ect.

I haven't personally done it, but if you use vinyl , it will have it's own adhesive on the back that will allow you to stick it to the floor, depending on what you do in the garage you probably dont...

I'd suggest asphalt mind aswell keep it uniform. If you are looking for a cheaper option they sell chopped up asphalt that because a better looker and more solid parking / turning area then gravel...

This will decrease the life of the fan but you could increase and descrease the power sent to the fan to make it spin slower or faster, something like a dimmer switch but for a fan would work for this
