Re: 1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

The licensing fees for old vehicles is low in Arizona. The cost for newer vehicles is based on MSRP. A $50,000 vehicle would have a license tax of $840 per year, & reduce by 16.25% each year.

Re: Let's Hear It for "The First Craftsman Tools I Bought Were..."

It was a 1/2" socket set at an auction. I was 12 years old, it was my first auction. From my seat they looked new & shinny. When I got them you could see they were painted silver! I don't remember...

Re: Restored 1930's Auto Shop

I used these for the voltage drop on the gauges for my 1949 Cadillac. They worked great, you need one for each gauge. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Runtz-12-Volt-to-6-Volt-Reducers,2374.html

Re: 1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

As far as wheels, you need the positive offset. If you go with a more negative offset I think they will be sticking out of the fenders. But I agree with the look of an old school hub cap.

Re: 1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

The clock spring is not a spring. It is a flat wire that that is used in the air bag system. It allows the steering wheel to turn & still keep electrical continuity with air bag.
