Keep in mind I have yet to build my shop.

But outside the small garage we currently have I took down a medium sized tree (roughly 36" in diameter) and I left the stump at a good level for outside...

I wonder if one could modify the alarm mentioned above to drive a light instead of the buzzer.

This I could mount on a 3R box outside on the pole with a simple LED indicator lamp and a weather...

The problem with the monitor is it's not rated for outdoors.
The only place I will have power to detect from the Utility is outside on the pole above the meter.

The meter panel is already installed, my electrician did a hot tap when he installed it and re-ran the power lines from the transformer.

Thanks guys.....

Now if the parts just come in to fix the damage caused during shipping, I will be ready for the next outage. Simple $26 fuel pump that has been on back order for over two weeks...
