Re: Ima Newb, Your input welcomed! My 30x48 garage plan/ build / ?? thead

My foundation/concrete was $9900 for my 30x48. I have only a 3' apron along the front and a small step outside the back door. I liked having access to both ends of the building so that I'm not...

Re: Stem wall on top of slab, or slab poured between stem walls?

My garage build in the sig shows what you are talking about. It is 20" above the slab. The stem walls were built first and the slab poured inside them. You can see how it went together from the pics.

Re: What zero turn should I look for

I went with a John Deere Z655. It's not the cheapy ones you can buy at the box stores. It has a 54" high capacity deck. The deck is thicker steel than most of the consumer decks and has a thick bar...

Re: The start of my 30x48

It is supposed to be a dressing room for the pool that is outside that back door. This was the wife's idea. If it were me I would have put a urinal on the wall and called it good enough. I do love...

Re: The start of my 30x48

Of coarse there is still work left to do. I have to finish trim in and on the stairway and install the propane heater. Over the winter I used a 240V heater and it worked ok but a more permanent...
