If you have a Scanner look at map sensor. Lower vacuum at 2500 rpm than at idle is a restriction, normaly the exhaust.

Re: Which back pressure tester do you have?

I took an old O2 single wire sensor & removed the wire & end that goes in exhaust. The GM sensors have a small hollow tube that I put a long vacuum nose on. Worked good & was free.

Re: Divco Milk Truck Restoration

Dirt track stock cars would use the Divco rear end as it was a full floater & had very low ratio gears.

Re: Restored 1930's Auto Shop

Does the Chevy II have U bolts on rear axle to leaf springs? I recall back when they were new that they had a T bolt holding the axle to the spring & that they could break.

Re: Restored 1930's Auto Shop

Thanks for the posts, Happy New Year. What year are the Corvettes? I just got a 2006 convertable after waiting 50 years. I sold the 1949 Cadillac Coupe Deville in my avitar to make way for the vette.
