7/10ths in a vette is more fun than 9/10ths in a miata. You should do neither on a public road. There are places for this kind of driving and the vette will outshine the miata everyday of the week...

I don't own a corvette or a miata, but I have spent a lot of time autocrossing these cars.

The miata is a fantastic little car and is superb at what it does. It is probably the best autocross car...

Having owned a high hp fwd car, and a high hp mid engine car, a ford speed 3 wouldn't stand a chance against a boxster with similar hp. Unless the driver of the Porsche was incompetent.
