Re: Mark's Monster Garage....3800 sq ft

Mark, I know you have a lot on your plate right now (as if there is ever a time you don't), but just in case you felt a shift in the universe very early this morning, I thought you may want to know...

Re: Restored 1930's Auto Shop

Thomas, I don't have an exact percentage in mind, but will say in my 15 years in the fire service, the number of garage fires either attached or detached is quite low compared to something like...

Re: Restored 1930's Auto Shop

Re: Show us your welding projects

Re: Restored 1930's Auto Shop

I love arbor vitae and try to use them whenever I can. They are a pretty tough evergreen. However, they are BAG WORM MAGNETS. I spend quite a bit of time fighting those little buggers. Evidently, the...

Re: Restored 1930's Auto Shop

Thanks for the tip Mr. Tee! We have 4 acres of timber on our property, I'll have to head out and round up a bag of acorns to give it a try. That is if the deer haven't finished them off yet! :D

Re: Restored 1930's Auto Shop

Thomas, I smiled at your use of the acronym ATP above. To me, ATP automatically reads as Adenosine triphosphate, or the coenzyme that facilitates the transference of the purest form of energy at the...

Re: Pole Barn Build In Progress!!!

Great build! Do you have any plans for a foundation/ground treatment to stop the roof runoff from eroding the ground? Or are you planning for gutters/downspouts?

Re: Show us your welding projects

Re: 30x40 Pole Barn in a Michigan winter - It has begun!

That was an old recliner out of one of our other substations. We were in the process of gutting it and rebuilding the living quarters. The old furniture made its way out to my station while the work...

Re: 30x40 Pole Barn in a Michigan winter - It has begun!
