Does the Chevy II have U bolts on rear axle to leaf springs? I recall back when they were new that they had a T bolt holding the axle to the spring & that they could break.

Thanks for the posts, Happy New Year. What year are the Corvettes? I just got a 2006 convertable after waiting 50 years. I sold the 1949 Cadillac Coupe Deville in my avitar to make way for the vette.

1985 & up Buick & Odls front wheel drive big cars had a hood that hinged at front. It has been used on many hot rods.

You may be able to use this wiper kit. The motor can be mounted away from the cowl using a cable drive. I have seen it on hot rods.

I just put in one of the R-18 polyurethane doors. Don't know about summer but it is a very solid door with the injected insolation vs the snap in insolation. If you can afford the $500 I would opt...

Can you put the rigid foam on the outside of the concrete wall? If so you could cover any above grade with cement board.

I had a polyurethane insolated door & Liftmaster 8500 installed a month ago. Much neater, quieter & more security with the electric lock bar.

I was thinking about dust sticking to the stained plywood. In my opinion a satin poly would be smother & hold less dust. They also make stain with poly in it.
