I just became the proud owner of about 22 LIGHTLY used 2 post lifts that I now need to sell. I say that they are lightly used because they are. These lifts are coming out of a laboratory setting used by the big 3 to determine repair procedures by engineers. These lifts have never seen a vehicle that was not brand new! With the exception of a few paint scratches incurred during installation (or their near term removal), they are all in perfect working order and look brand new!
I will be taking them down in Detroit and any not sold there in Detroit prior to the takedown, will be then moved to Chicago. The lifts will be on skids and arrangements can be made for pick-up or delivery. Here's a breakdown of the first 10 that are available: 3 each Rotary Model SPOA7-200 7,000 lbs. Capacity / 2 Post w/ overhead / 230 volt 1 phase motor Asking $1800.00 each 4 each Challenger Model 9000AI 9,000 lbs. Capacity / 2 post w/ overhead / 230 volt 1 phase motor Asking $1750.00 each 1 each Rotary Model SPOA9-200 9,000 lbs. Capacity / 2 Post w/ overhead / 230 volt 1 phase motor Asking $1850 2 each Benwil Model T-Pro-7 7,000 lbs. Capacity / 2 Post w/ overhead / 230 volt 1 phase motor Asking $1500.00 each All of these lifts require a 12' ceiling height for installation. I will make pictures of them available as soon as I receive them, but this deal is first come first served. Please let me know if there is any interest! There will be some 4-posts later this year, unfortunately, they are 30,000 lbs capacity and about 34' in overall length! (If you have a LONG garage, you could fit a few cars on top and below, but taking the drive up ramps off to drive in underneath will prove to be a challenge!)

The Challenger lifts can be used either symmetrically or asymmetrically, according to the manufacturer. They call it a "Versymmetric" lift.

Fivespdcat...No these lifts are not coming out of a dealership. They are being removed from a testing facility that was used by an outside contractor to the "Big Three". Most of the lifts have literally NEVER been used, just set-up and then they sat. Any that were "used" were used in the sense that they had a brand new vehicle sit on them for months at a time while the engineers worked out the repair procedures. I've been in the lift business for 18 years and I have never seen anything like this!
BTW, thank you to the Garage Journal members that have shown an interest in purchasing. I hope to get a chance to meet some of you all up in Detroit, but at this time, I can't guarantee I will be there personally due to other commitments here in Chicago. If there are any issues, please feel free to call me or ask one of the service techs to call. There are an additional 12 lifts now available (in addition to the 10 listed in the original post). There is a mixture of Rotary SPOA9 Lifts and SPOA10's, but I don't have the quantity breakdown of each yet. If there is any additional interest, please give me a call M-F at 1-888-350-7500 Ext 103 Best Regards, Frank |

These are bargain prices for the lifts quoted so far. Anyone in the area who has been considering a lift would do well to get one.

I have a 22x22x12 space I'd like to put a lift in. I have a 4 in. concrete floor. I did make the concrete thicker where we felt the posts would go (they are dead center in the space). How much for the Rotary installed in Princeton IL?

Inition...I'll need to find an installer in your area to do the work before I quote you. Technically, Princeton is in our service area, but it's a 3-hour drive each way to do a 4-hour installation, I'd hate to even give you the quote! (By the way, we sell Champion compressors that are made right there in Princeton!)
Let me see if I can find someone and if not, I'll try to work you some sort of deal. Best Regards, Frank |

One of the lifts that will be available later this year will be a 15,000 lbs. 2 post. I don't have pricing on that yet, but it will be available. We also have a 4-post 12K capacity alignment rack and a 30K capacity 4-post lift that will be available. Frank |

I need a symmetrical lift anyways. A BendPak delivered and installed will run me $3800. Sounds pretty fair.

I talked to you this morning about a 10K symmetrical. I am leaving this as a reminder. Get in touch if you come across one. Jim / Wisconsin 2six2=441=0333 |
