Anyone have any experiance good or bad with a wireless intercome system?. I am tired of my wife standing on the deck yelling for me when I am in the garage with the door closed and expecting me to hear her.

The reason for this was to have the flexibility of regular phone in case of a emergency situation. There are many brands of phone makers who incorporate both phone and intercom systems at a very reasonable price. I went with a VTECH system as it was a proven DECT 6.0 secure phone with rolling encryption and multi frequency 5.4 Ghz bandwidth. In plain English . . . This phone is secure against casual eve dropping from others. It has an extreme range of more than one mile while offering crystal clear sound. That is my $0.0000000000000000000000000001 for you. Teken . . .

I have the Radio Shack Model 4300124 Cat #43-124 900MHZ Wireless Intercom with VOX mode feature. It works great for me, love it soo far. I bought it new off of E- Bay for less than $60. Russ

I am with ya on that one. Motorola Razr. I bought a charging dock just for the garage.... way cheaper then the alternative! and if I don't want to talk.... I can just say I lost my signal. My barn just happens to be far enough away not to hear her yell! that was by design.!!
