Default Aussie bike shop & gun rider vid!

Here is vid that some of you guys might like. Even if you don't know who he is, he has a cool work shop, bikes & tools. For those into the dirt bike scene, he is an Aussie who has won titles in the US many years ago. He's still way fast!

Thanks for that link.

Geoff Ballard is an enduro legend. What he did for the Honda, riding and developing the XR600/650 to make it a competitive thumper for so many years makes me wonder why he's on a Yamaha? If anyone at Honda had a clue they should have just signed him up for ever!

It looks like his business has a huge range compared to what was available when I used to ride dirtbikes. http://www.ballards.cc/ballard-s-catalogue

Cheers

He dumped Honda because they stopped developing the XR range. He did great things with them but you can only do so much when a company will keep pumping out the same old thing year after year.

He saw the writing on the wall and he jumped ship...smart move. I'm surprised he didn't go to KTM or one of the other Euro brands actually. It was probably a safer bet to go with one of the big 4 I suppose.
