I think he wrote that he already has a gun safe and he just needs something for his night stand gun.
Someone tried to break into our house when my wife was home alone. She grabbed the night stand gun. Two drug dealers getting beat down in the street in front of my house when I lived in Fayetteville/Ft Bragg. One of them came into my house trying to get away. Night stand gun persuaded him to leave. In either case, getting to the gun safe, opening it and getting a handgun would have taken more time than we had to spare. Coach |

I bought this one off of Amazon for my Glock 27 - Gunvault GVB1000 Mini Vault Biometric Gun Safe. It is mounted to the nightstand for quick and easy access.

The biometric safes are very nice - but I have not been able to justify $200 - $300 for one.
I use the simple $25 one I got from Midway - you can put it in your vehicle - bolt it in or use the 1,500 lb cable to secure it. Also meets FAA guidelines for air travel. simple combo - I keep one in every vehicle now. Good to have if you end up somewhere you can't CCW.

My gunsafe has an electronic lock that I can open in seconds. I hope you're not one of those jackoffs that has guns in the closet, under the bed, in a drawer.... |
