Two different Springfields are being spoke about in this thread. The one RatDoggy and JC is speaking about is in Springfield, Ohio and it's Sept. 7,8,& 9th

It usually draws in a very large crowd, especially if the weather is nice. They have a little bit of everything including a few hundred cars that are always there for sale.

As far as driving from Illinois being worth it. It's hard to say. If you are a die hard car guy or Petrolinia collector. it would probably be worth the drive. I don't think you would be disappointed.

Hey not my fault you Mid westerners aren't too imaginative when you name towns! 25 Springfields! You need to come up with different names. Like Aquebogue, Islip,Patchogue,Hauppauge, Nesconset like where I'm from.

I'm only 2h from Springfield OH and complain like its a day's journey LOL...but they always park me in the boonies, and even further out when I get there early.

Maybe I'll drive the '72 van and enter it in the car show then I can sneak all the crap I buy into it without walking a mile.

Yeah i knew there was 2 different ones,Thats why i named the fairgrounds to be sure Wish i could make it to Ohio to meet you guys and buy some parts! Found out the hard way that there is also a West Plains Mi. when some parts we needed to get back to work were shipped to there instead of West Plains Mo.!
