Do they still make those red, plastic race car beds?

Go for it. When I was down at Corvettes @ Carlisle, they were selling similar chairs (except Corvette seats) for over $1000 new. I doubt that is an authentic Ferrari chair, but if it is, even better.

I always thought something like these desks would be cool. I really thought about using the front end of my old Ford van, but couldn't justify cutting it up while it was still worth a little.

My old boss (body shop) makes accessories out of old car parts. table lambs out of headlight frames, tables out of steering columns, he can and dose about anything a person could ever think of.

I've seen one of those (not sure it was that exact model) in person. Wasn't real impressed with the quality and there's just no way around saying it - it looked cheap. The photos make it look pretty good, but in reality it looks more like a standard office chair that someone glued some plastic parts off a toy onto.
They're obviously trying to be knockoffs of Recaro office chairs (which ARE nice), but at 20% of the price, they're nowhere near the quality. |

I made my own Porsche 914 office chair (to be fair, I do have a welder) for thousands less than what they're selling them for (in general). Buy a used office chair and seat of your choice and make it yourself. A competent body or custom shop could build you a seat rail/mounting bracket. |

I drive a furniture-themed car. It's beige, boxy, and has stains that nobody can quite identify what they are or where they came from.

I know this is MY opinion but NOTHING beats the engine block glass table on top gear. I WANT ONE, wouldn't ever want to move it though

Here's my '57 Chevy BelAir couch. It's a metal body with working tail lights and original-style upholstery. Looks cool but it's not very comfortable to sit on.
