pictures when quoting in replies

I know it has been mentioned before, however the re-posting of pics while using the quote button has become very annoying. Automatic pics need to be disabled and can be made a option for the quoter to include. These pics clog up really cool threads with multiple quotes over and over. Case in point is the ******* parking thread. Maybe they could be limited to once per page through programming.

It's been asked over and over, but people never learn. We have long standing members who do it just as often as noobs. I even posted in the other thread that I'd help pay for the cost of having someone make the code changes if that's what it took, because it irked me that much. No dice. :dunno:

At this point I just try to ignore it.

Especially when pics are GIANT !! Would be nice if system would default to make those pics some sort of thumbnail size small pic if no special action was taken by the re-poster. If subsequent viewer wanted to see more of the pic, they would have to click on it.

it's especially fun when someone posts a dozen or so high res toolbox drawer pics and then the next 2 or 3 people quote with all the pictures either just to say "nice collection" , "great setup", "cool!" or something along those lines or they quote all the pictures just to ask about one wrench holder in picture #4. It gets especially annoying when you're viewing it on a smartphone on a 3g/4g connection with a limited data plan!! :willy_nil

The only way I have to access the web s my 3g prepaid boos phone. Speeds slow down after 2g data used. Doesn't take long I'll tel ya that..
