I have been using the Costco Arcan jack for a year now - based on that experience, I would say that it is well worth the money....great jack.....but, I haven't torn it down.....Bruce has an opinion on construction....tell us about it....

I like my 2 ton HF jack. Yea its chinese, but I dont care if it fails, I dont go under it when its up on the jack. My jack stands on the other hand are a different story. Only pin style jack stands for me.
