I installed a couple of j hooks on the rafters and hang it up there (one for the shaft and one for the engine). Its completely out of the way but easy to get to.

Nope -- no matter where I store mine, it ends up in the way....

Me too.

I spent about $5 on a handful of these things and went to town hanging stuff up.

My string trimmer hangs vertically pretty high in the corner near a storage bucket with all my shovels n rakes. I tried hanging it horizontally, but that didn't work for me.

Hang some slats in to the studs of your wall and screw the J-hooks in to the slats. I know they make/sell those garage kits with rails n hooks. I just can't bring myself to spend >$100 on something I could build out of scrap boards n nails/hooks.

I use the hooks like TN Garage shows that is on the L.H. side of the package. Screw those into the wall and hang the weedeater horizontal up close to the ceiling.

You could use the larger hooks that are square shown and hand those down from the rafters and get the same effect.

I have the same one, can't find it online, seems like I got it back in the shelving and storage department.

I wish i had room in my shops for a bar room, we had a nice bar in our club house with a nice pool table before we sold our lake house, you walked out the door and the lake water was right there, I sure do miss it,
