Default Lincoln pro mig welder 180 from LOWES, is it worth buying for $360 new?

I am looking at getting a newer welder as my 15 yr old century seems to work occasionally. Any how, this unit is at lowes but they dont show it anymore on their sight. It is model number K2481-1 & is a 220 volt model & will cost me $360 out the door. I dont really need a 220 but for the price i may have to get it. I also have a dedicated 220 in the garage for my compressor. I really love to hear any negatives on this welder if there are any. Heres a link to it

Absolutely, $360 for a NIB 180a MIG machine is a steal.

Absolutely, jump on it! I paid a somewhere around $500 for a new Hobart 187 last year and thought it was a good deal.

I have a Power MIG 180C, which is a beefed up version of the Pro MIG 180. I've had no issues with mine in the last few years. I love it.

great deal,i went thru two 175's and then complained to the manager,at the time, the 175's were no longer and had been replaced with the 180,the manager said no problem and gave me the 180 to keep me happy.i've had zero issues with it,and just to let you know,i paid 580.00 for the first 175.i'de by two 180's if you could them for 360 apiece and ebay one of them to make some dough back.

That is a very good deal.
If you're questioning yourself on whether you need this "big" of a machine, just remember this-- You can turn this one down to do everything the 120V can do BUT you can turn this one up to do things the 120V can't.

Go to the store now!

A good welder until you want to step up to higher duty cycle.

Nice buy, I would not have passed on it.

Make sure the wiring and breaker are adequate for the welder, It'll draw more then the compressor I'm sure.

I've seen them recently on sale around 660$ regular 700$ (probably what I paid for mine).

Extremely good deal on that welder. The only negative is it is a tapped machine but it will still do great

Smoking deal. I paid more than that for my Lincoln 140 6 years ago. Its still going strong - best welder I've had... it will NOT DIE.
