Default Replacement for Crazedlist?

I used to use Crazedlist to do searches on Craigslist for multiple locations, etc. But that site is no more.

Anybody have a replacement site/search engine that does better & multiple searches on Craigslist?

works 10 times better than crazed list, plus you need not to make any setting changes or have browser issues or be blocked.

^^ I am a fan of Search Tempest as well. I enjoy that I can set a radius from where I live and pull from that area. Adhunt'r pulls everything and the best you can sort is by state. My only gripe with Search Tempest is due to an issue with Craigslist modifying their software. It makes it a little clunky, but not too bad.

There was a story on NPR this morning talking about how Craigslist is locking these guys out.

Hopefully one or two will survive.

I like SearchTempest. Not working as well as they were about three months ago but they seem to have overcome some of the glitches they were having last month. I think I'll try the other two mentioned earlier to compare.

Nothing new, CL has always killed off search engines that specialize in it. CL is owned by Ebay, so there is lots of money behind it. I think CL exists to keep the crazys (the worst of them at least) off of Ebay. Anyhow, CL charges for real estate listings, that is how it makes its money.

Ebay does not own / control Craigslist, they do own a percentage of CL, that they aquired when a CL shareholder decided to sell their stock. (I think it's a thorn in CL's backside).

I think http://smartised.com is a good replacement for crazedlist. You can compare prices between eBay and Amazon too.

Although it is in beta, but they making good progress.

They won't be bullied by Craiglist and hence will survive, because they are using a third party to get craigslist data.
