Ha ha, I see it now. I did miss that. I was looking for a bigger sign mounted on the wall. I completely skipped right past that.

I like that.

I found the G.J. because I have been looking for and researching ALEMITE vintage work stations and I discovered the thread here in the journal.
I had decided that a work station would be very dificult to find and quite pricey if one were found
I was surfing cl one evening about two weeks after discovering the G.J .and this is what I found.!!!

I picked up the phone and in minutes I had purchased this cabinet with a work bench that goes with it.

since march I have been working on this thing and today it looks like this

Not bad for $1200.00 and a little elbow grease and a some paint.
It is sitting in my 1926 texaco gas station inside the party barn.

I will take pic,s of the work bench tomorrow.

Thanks for showing us the 69 Don. Very nice! Of course you would have a Hemi sitting in the Texaco station, cool!

Hey Hi HOTFR8
the plan is when I turn 100 to start whipping it into a customized flat bed tow truck
I bought in from a junk yard it had a 24' box on it powered by the orig flatty
now the cab is sitting on a late model gmc heavy duty stretched frame with a 427 under the dog house, a little crowded in the cab so it should get streched out a little some in the back of the cab some in the doors themselves we'll see.!!

Thanks for asking.
Don

No you have to do that project well before then. Unless you expect to live 3 life times to enjoy it all

Hi Don,

Looks like you have been busy and the Party Garage is wonderful!

I've been collecting toy steam engines since I was a kid. Just wondering if your collection includes any little steam engines?

Good to see your posts. Looking forward to seeing more of your collection, cars and the ongoing progress of the Party Garage.

Ody.

Hi Don,

Great place you have there, all that hard work building, collecting and restoring is incredible!

I too often think about "thinning out the collection" and I did so again after going through your thread, but I just can't let go...LOL!

I love the store front street concept!!! I'll be showing it to the wife to see if she'll be interested in something like that down the road. Its a perfect way to display such a diverse collection.

I have always planned to build a diner and a Richfield gas station right after I build a new home on the property. Until then, we party al fresco.

Again, great job on recreating an awesome Era with all your hard work and thanks for sharing it with us,

Paul
