Default Trackwall Screws for Gladiator or Versatrack

Hey Gladiator and Versatrack people

Here is a little comparison between Gladiator screws and the new Securelock/Versatrack screws from Home Depot. The Home Depot screws are expensive ($5 for 32 screws plus star drill bit) however just may be worth it for a small gearwall or track project.

Really, special screws. 5 for 32.

saw those yesterday. they're just coated screws, right?

deckmate outdoor screws for pressure treated lumber--in all likelihood would work just fine, no?

it's just for anchoring plastic tracks in studs, i can't imagine a 3" deckmate screw would not be bad.

oh and at a fraction of the cost of the other type....
