Default condor wood stove auto thermostat

Hi i just inquired an old nashua wood stove, that may bee someone on here may have a clue about.

On the front of it, instead of a manual air adjustment. There is a Condor brand. Automatic air adjuster/ thermostat. It dosnt seem to work.

I cant find anything online about these. But may need to buy one or rebuild this one some how.

The only pic online i could find is this, mine looks new though.

My father has one of those. He installed it on his wood stove in the late 70's and it has worked flawlessly even since. I've recommended them to other people but for some reason cannot find anyone who is making new ones. If it doesn't work, do you have any interest in selling it? I enjoy tinkering with these sorts of things. The company that made it appears to be at condar.com

Best of luck.
