Default Genie Garage door opener no power

My Genie Intellicode chain drive H2000C garage door open just went dead. I confirmed that the outlet it was plugged to is still live with a voltage sensor.

Is there a reset button on these? I noticed right before it died that the plug was partilly out so maybe a circut breaker tripped on it (I hope?)

Thanks, Chet

If you can't figure it out then call genie. Some of them have lifetime parts, labor and motor coverage. Mine does.

If you got nothing then you could have a fried circuit board or 2. They are really awash to swap out. The genie tech support is really good with troubleshooting you through the diagnostics. Are your lights on the safety sensors on?

Over they years, I have owned 3 Genie openers at three locations and have found their support to be very good although I have not needed it much. Even if the part is off warranty the replacement prices are very reasonable.

Use a multimeter to check for voltage. All it takes is one wire to cross the wire for that outlet and you will get a false signal.

Ask me how I know?!?!

Door opener "magically" started working again!! Could colde weather / moisture in the North East have affected it ?
