As much as I love duck and other creature hunting, I saw one episode of this show and never watched again. The producers make them appear to be a bunch of dumb rednecks with money. They very well may be that, but the show does nothing for me.

X2. I've never been to the South and this show sure doesn't make me want to change that.

From what I have been told....They all have college degrees (except si) If you go to the discovery channels' web page you can see family photos of them. I noticed in most of the older photos they were dressed in what I would call "preppy" clothes......with no beards.....I believe most of what you see on the show, is for the show? however, it is funny.

I like the show, although like all "reality" TV, I'm sure a lot of stuff is staged for the cameras.

Most of the dumb stuff is probably an act.

The father, Phil, has a masters degree in education, and was drafted into the NFL. He played college ball at Louisiana Tech, where Terry Bradshaw was initially his backup. He apparently turned all that down to hunt and start the company. Looks like he made a good choice.

I didn't know that, cool. I think the show is funny, staged or not who cares if I laugh. I think Uncle Si is a hoot, the boys are pretty much dopes but Uncle Si and the Dad are funny as heck

The show is staged. All the way. But the people are the real deal.
