Default D.TRECE - Garage + House

After lurking all the amazing garages here I FINALLY started on my own first garage.

It is a Garage with the excuse of building a house on top of it

Somewhere lost in a SD card must be a picture of the terrain before starting.

So this is it!

Front Ramp view:

Random shots:

Hope you find this thread entertaining as progress continues.

Obviously I'm pretty excited being my first G/H so bare with me

Today they poured concrete on the base of the walls...

Framing for 8" thickness

Random progress shots:

Contractor says they will pour the walls in 4 steps, I hope It does not end up looking awful.

Congrats on starting the build! Do you have a picture of the layout or the plans for the garage/house

Everything was made in CAD and I just have a CAD viewer so I have not been able to extract a decent resolution picture of the plans so far. Still trying tho.

I have some Architectural renders, I just hope the thing ends up looking as them, because the background is far from reality as you can see in the progress pictures

And "Night" shot

Very nice renderings; impressive design!

It appears that your new neighborhood has quite the moderne flavor and your home should be a standout as well. Mind if I ask what the cost per square foot is at present in your state of Mexico?

Great looking design. I look forward to seeing the progress.
What are your plans for inside the garage?

Fantastic project. That's a serious foundation your are building and the architecture is amazing. It looks like many of the surrounding homes are modern as well - very cool. Please tell me the gray material in the renderings is board formed concrete.

Interior darkness will be a huge factor in the outcome but I have downloaded a lot of pictures from builds here.. including yours

Haha, serious foundation? I guess that coming from you I must take that as a compliment Mr. Concrete Everything

Still have to make a hole in the center for a small wall, I wanted a clean garage but the engineer that calculated the house said it was well worth it to support the 2nd floor.

Smooth board on the huge front wall (thin layer) and "dirty" board on the side and front ( full pour ). Or that is the idea.

Since my CAD knowledge is not better than average my best attempt at showing the plans is a print screen from the computer.

Just a link because its too wide: HERE
