I caught that too, looks like they're hoping their average customer can't tell the difference between feet and inches. They're probably right though.

19.2 volts? I'll keep it in mind if I ever need to run a nut down 4' of all-thread in the middle of a room.

this is not meant to be a hammerhead. even the IR IQv20 R3130 puts out only 54ft-lbs of torque. as long as the ratchet head locks, so you can manually break a fastener loose, and then use the powered portion to drive the fastener off, this should have its use. the fact that they are using the "max access" stuff, might mean the design is very low profile.. if so, the ability for this tool to get into tight spaces can be pretty valuable.

would really like to see what it looks like? I can certainly search, but if anyone has a link handy... that would be helpful...

I guess that would be good if you deal with a lot of threaded rod but otherwise I would just take the Milwaukee m12 ratchet.

Yes you would, But this is for people that already have an investment in the C3 line,

Whether someone is "invested" in the C3 line or not, the question has to be asked if this is a practical tool and not some Christmas season gimmicky tool that Sears is so known for?

Obviously you are a collector of C3 and would buy a automated C3 toilet paper dispenser if Sears made one. The issue I have and many others is if this is really a practical tool given then the big ass 19.2V battery hanging of the ass end of it?

This really would have been a better tool launched on the Nextec 12v system.

looks good from above the battery.... I'd probably get it if it had the same specs or similar for the nextec line.

I do agree that this would be better with the nextec, I do think it would be a pain to use under my truck. The newer LIon battery is 1/2 the weight of the nicad but the size would just get in the way.

My thoughts exactly. Some power tool designs are doomed simply because the manufacturer chose the wrong battery platform.

The Nextec system could've produced the power for the stated torque specifications. If you stick a big, clunky battery on the end you've defeated the purpose of the head design.

On the other hand, if they did add it to the Nextec line, I would probably buy it.

They may have one coming for nextec, Most of the nextex was cleared out last month, and new tools are expected in October, I just do not have a inside on the nextec line just the c3.

I agree w most of above:
-this is probably the wrong platform w the huge battery
-better suited for Nextec 12V
-why is everyone so concerned with ultimate torque? You break the fastener free manually then spin it off with power. Much more torque than that in a non-impacting tool and you just twist the operator if you don't twist the fastener first.
-I'd buy an auto TP dispenser if Milwaukee made it for M12

I'll take the AC delco at 57 ft/lbs over the milwaukee or C-man. It's also cheaper with two batteries for a buck 40.

I caught that too. That thing couldn't twist a nipple, let alone change a tire.
