Hey all,
I know i have seen people post on here that they found deals on 2" insulation for thier floors for deals buy buying it in certain quantities or from certain places. I need to buy the floor insulation this week, and am wondering if anyone has any advise on where to go? Im in MN, about 30 mins north of the Minneapolis/St. Paul area if that helps. |

I bought mine from Home Despot but had to buy a skid, which was 48 pieces. The cost was $21.00 a 4'x8'x2" sheet for Foamular 250. One advantage to buying from a box retailer is you are absolutely going to have some damaged goods which you can jump up and down and shout about until they give you a hefty discount. DAMHIK.

I thought I saw it at Menards for around 20.00 a sheet last week. If you can check all the places and there is a price difference make them price match and give extra 10 percent....

I bought my 2" insulation at Lowes after opening a Lowes credit card account, which gets you a 10% discount off your first purchase.

Being a bit of an overkill type guy, I'm putting Dow High Load 40 in mine, at $1.21/sf. That's about 2x the price of the 25psi stuff.

ScaldedDog where did you buy your HL 40 from? I'm trying to buy 28 sheets and that want to sell me a pallet load of 48 sheets.
Mister honey, What kind of foam board did you get from Lowes? Did they have to special order it? |
