What did you set the poles in/ on? Just wondering if you used a sono-tube or just a concrete cookie in the bottom of the holes? I am hoping to get started on a 40x 60 soon. Thanks, Jonesy.

I used 12'' pads for most holes. I used 16'' for where we butted 2 poles together for carrying the header over the 16' door and 10'' ones for the 4''x6'' poles that framed the entry door and the patio slider. The holes drilled very easy and we had very hard clay just at the bottom of the holes. -MATT |
