Default Torpedo Tool Boxes

I love vintage Black Hawk tool boxes. The torpedo shape, the rolling capability, the novelty... Flatly, they are just damn cool... And I've always meant to buy one. Unfo...

I've been following that long term thread on the HAMB about toolboxes, and pictures of several Black Hawk torpedo boxes have been posted. They've always reminded me of the old Electrolux vacuum cleaner my mother had when I was a kid.

Saw the one starting at 500, there's one that ended june 14 that sold for 77.00 so it looks like they are still out there.

Believe there is one on eBay right now that is listed at $499!

my moms bought this toolbox for my old man in 1948 while he was in trade school, it was his first box. he's passed on now but i found it a couple yrs ago and had it striped in his name, "SPEED". it's fulla tools and rides around in the trunk of his old 59 Impala, which i drive the hell outa......he'd be smilin' about all of those things...........

if ya look close at the handle you can see the wear from sliding it under the seat of his old shop truck
