Default Relocating a hose bib

My current hose bib location is in the outside lower wall of my split level house. Because my exterior walls are 6" it can not be a frost free type bib, its sticks straight through the basement wall. I want to relocate the bib into a new location when 2 walls intersect so I can use a longer frost free type. My basement does not have finished walls so i can access them easily. I have vinyl siding and I'm a little hesitant to just start ripping off siding and boring holes through my walls. Can anyone give me some advice or links on where to start this project? thanks a ton!

You can get a frostproof bib that will go through a 6 inch wall.
