Blue point stuff is also on the website, so some of those "country of origin" searches will include BP stuff.

Cool use of Boologic...if you search by image you can see the items directly

Try inputting Mexico, Taiwan, Canada, Japan, Korea, France, Germany, etc.

I'm bummed out to see that my BK5500 borescope is made in China, but I sure love it.I've had no problems with it,yet the ratchet-end 3/8 Techwrench I bought, had horrible luck with, and that one says it's made in the USA on their website.
It seems like you have to look real hard to find tings that aren't made over there these days.

First, I have no problem Snap On sells jack. It's their rights to sell whatever they wanna sell. I didn't list any Blue Point tools in my original post, because everybody knows what they are getting.

I do have a problem of misleading customers. Why I buy Snap On sockets which I have never used one in my life? Because of the reputation, that's what Snap On is selling, you know it's good before you even try it. you expect it's gonna be expensive because it's made the expensive way with expensive materials, expensive equipment by experienced(expensive) workers and designed by experienced(expensive) engineers. . But, if Snap On tools are made of 3rd world material by 3rd world labor with 3rd work equipment and YOU SELL ME AT THE FULL AMERICAN MADE PRICE?

questions for all the toolmen, any brand:

1.) Do you get a higher markup on these Chinese tools? If not, I think it's fair to say you folks got ripped off.

2.) Does this trend concern you? as consumers, we can just stop buying certain brand if we don't like it. But, you and your family's livelihood is depends on your tool company. If they are listening, you should speak up first.

I just sent an email to SO inquire a full list of the Chinap On tools. let's see.

That hammer made in China is not a Snap-on hammer under my definition. Only Snap-on tools made in the United States Of America deserve the privilege to display the Snap-on name.

I'll never knowingly by a Chinese SnapOn item...or a Sears one, or ......

Like someone said...at least China (Harbor) Freight is honest.

Is there any way to have the search results exclude the Blue Point items?

Im at the hospital visiting a friend and noticed that all of the equipment in the room from the bed to the 1/2 dozen electronics boxes for items such as IV and heart monitors were made in mostly the USA or Germany. I can't imagine a hospital filled with made in China crap but then, there was a time it was all USA and Germany in the car hospitals here too.

it's based on Snap-On's product information on each page. when you open product pages on snapon.com, in the middle of page, under " Product Specifications", some of them show "brand: Snap-On" or "Brand: Blue Point", some doens't. if doesn't say "Blue Point", you can not exclude it.
