Oil free compressors are very loud. I wouldn't pay that much for Craftsman compressor either. I never paid that much for a huge industrial compressor.

I don't know what they sell for but I doubt I'd give $75 for a used oiless compressor period much less over $450. I have one, not that model, and its loud as hell and I've repaired mine about 4 times. They aren't worth much and are just anoying to use.
I saw a 60 gal Cambel Hausefeld for $400 at Tractor supply today. Belt drive oil lubed cast iron compressor. |

That was my first compressor . I was lucky to have bought the extended warranty . It was rebuilt for free the first three times it blew , but the fourth time it popped it was out of warranty . It wasn't worth the money to fix it so I bought a new compressor and used the old tank to gain more volume .
To top all this off I didn't use it commercially and it is LOUD like you wouldn't believe .

I got sucked in on one back in the day. I paid $379 on sale in '99. Some dreamer on CL was asking $250 for his last month. Mine never gave me any trouble and produces incredibly dry air, but is worth $100. max. It is now the winter compressor so my belt driven oil filled can snooze in cold weather.
